2tablespoonsolive oil
1teaspoongarlic powder
1teaspoononion powder
1teaspoonsmoked paprika
1teaspoonsalt
0.5teaspoonblack pepper
0.5cupgrated Parmesan cheese
2tablespoonsfresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
optionalfresh lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
In a spacious mixing bowl, pour in the olive oil, followed by the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir the ingredients together until they form a smooth seasoning mixture.
Introduce the chicken wings into the bowl, ensuring they are submerged in the mixture. Toss the wings gently but thoroughly, ensuring every piece is coated in the fragrant seasoning blend.
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Let it heat up for about 5 minutes to prepare for optimal crispiness.
Carefully arrange the seasoned wings in the air fryer basket. Be cautious not to overcrowd the basket, as this will help maintain even cooking and crispy results.
Air fry the wings at the preheated temperature of 400°F (200°C) for a total of 25 minutes. At the halfway mark, shake the basket gently to encourage even cooking and enhance crispiness.
After 25 minutes, check the wings. They should have a delightful golden brown color and a crispy exterior. If you desire extra crispiness, continue cooking for an additional 5 minutes.
Once cooked to perfection, transfer the wings to a large bowl. While they are still warm, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese generously over the wings. Toss gently to ensure every wing is evenly coated with the cheesy goodness.
Garnish the wings with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color and serve immediately. Include optional lemon wedges on the side for an added zesty kick!
Notes
Serve with dipping sauces like ranch or blue cheese for extra flavor.
