Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease an 8x8 inch baking dish with melted coconut oil.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced apples with lemon juice, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of sea salt. Toss gently until well coated.
Evenly distribute the spiced apple mixture in the greased baking dish.
In another bowl, combine rolled oats, almond flour, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and chopped nuts. Mix until it resembles a crumbly topping.
Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the apples in the baking dish.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm, optionally topped with Greek yogurt or coconut whipped cream.
