2tablespoonschocolate chips or chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Base: In a microwave-safe mug or small bowl, carefully combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, and fine salt. Whisk or stir these dry ingredients together until they are evenly mixed and free of lumps.
Create the Batter: Pour in the milk, vegetable oil, and pure vanilla extract. Stir the mixture vigorously with a fork or spoon until a smooth batter forms, making sure there are no dry spots left in the mixture. The consistency should be similar to pancake batter.
Add Extra Indulgence: If you’d like to elevate your brownie, gently fold in the chocolate chips or chopped nuts at this stage, allowing for added texture and richness.
Microwave Magic: Cook the mixture in the microwave on high for 40 to 60 seconds. Start by microwaving for 40 seconds and check the doneness by looking for a set top with a slightly gooey center. If the brownie isn't fully cooked yet, continue microwaving in 10-second intervals until the desired firmness is achieved. Remember, it’s better to undercook slightly than to overcook.
Cool & Enjoy: Allow the brownie to cool for about a minute in the mug or bowl. This will help prevent burns and enhance the overall taste experience.
Notes
For an indulgent treat, enjoy warm topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of cocoa powder.
